Suburani is a Latin reading course designed to develop students' ability to read and understand Classical Latin literature. It combines the study of Latin language with Roman civilisation, history and mythology. This character-based course starts in the Subura of Rome in AD 64, with a flashback to Boudica's revolt in Britain, before moving on to Arles and Orange in southern France, Las Medullas in Spain and Conimbriga in Portugal.
Book 1 contains 16 chapters suitable for one-to-two years of study as the introduction to GCSE Latin.
