About the story

Celer is a friendly dog. He's so friendly that he has a friend on each one of the seven hills of Rome! Not only does Celer enjoy visiting his friends on the seven hills, but he also enjoys the opportunity to cut loose and just be a dog without anyone telling him "DON'T!"

This novella is geared towards Novice level students in the first few months of a beginner's class.

About the author

Hillary Long graduated with a BA in Classics, MPhil in Classical Archaeology and a PGCE in Classics from Newnham College, Cambridge. She now lives in the Texas Hill Country with her family, and teaches Latin in St. Andrew's Episcopal School, Austin.
